Acquire HTML Editor's Review

'Acquire HTML' is a new and easy-to-use webpage editor. It can edit existing HTML documents in a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface. It can also allow you to edit the HTML source code and it can display a preview of the edited webpage.

I want to start describing this software by saying that it's very simple. I can also say without fear, that Acquire HTML can be used by any user. Beginners can use the program to create simple pages, while advanced users may appreciate having a source editor with syntax highlighting features.

This program is best suited for creating personal web pages. It supports PHP and JavaScript code blocks. These blocks are displayed as small icons inside the interface. Acquire HTML provides a useful tool for generating hexadecimal color codes, a word counter, and a nice looking calculator. It's also possible to spell-check the web pages created by this program.

Pluses: The program loads fast and works nice with long web pages.

Drawbacks / flaws: It does not create XHTML compliant web pages.

In conclusion: Acquire HTML can't be compared with a professional HTML editor. However, it's very easy-to-use and reliable, so it's worth to try.
